By accessing or using metronomo-online.com (the "Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Metronome Online is a free browser metronome for musical practice. It runs entirely in your browser (Web Audio API), needs no account or installation, and works offline once installed as a Progressive Web App. Features include tap tempo, a speed trainer, a rest trainer, stage mode, and a dedicated page for every BPM from 20 to 300.

3. Licence and Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial practice.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify or create derivative works of the Service, except where law permits
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm or overload it
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract the source code
• Remove copyright or ownership notices
• Circumvent rate limits, or introduce malware, spam or automated scraping that degrades the Service

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, text and logo, is owned by Metronome Online or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. The licence above does not transfer ownership. You may link to or share any public page (for example /bpm/120/) with attribution.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any tempo will be suitable for professional, medical or safety-critical use. Treat it as a practice aid and verify anything critical with appropriate tools.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Metronome Online and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or practice time, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. In any case, our total liability is limited to US$50 or the amount you paid to use the Service (which is US$0).

7. Third-party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party sites (for example Google Fonts or FormSubmit). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update, suspend or discontinue the Service at any time, and we may revise these Terms. We will post updates here and change the "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of the appropriate jurisdiction.
